I AM PLAYR
Nike are involved in this immersive social football game. We're interested to see how it plays out and how involved the gameplay will be. It looks like it could go a little Footballers Wives.

TED BAKER Remote Styling

Ted Baker has been getting jiggy with Guided Collective. Their new project picks up on my post 'Fashion needs a new diet' here. Ted is working with top US fashion bloggers to create the world's first live remote styling session. It's a refreshing take on the traditional approach of many fashion brands. This kind of innovation is now required to engage the influential fashion bogger community. I'm interested to see how it unfolds.
Give it a go here

Social Media over the next 5 years
There's loads of Buzz around Social Media and to celebrate Mashable's 5th B'day they've been asking various experts to give their view on the next 5 years. Have a read.
http://mashable.com/2010/09/07/next-5-years-social-media/
Now there's nothing particularly Earth shattering in this over view from the mashable guys. It seems obvious to us that as social media networks, like Facebook, are adopted by the older masses they'll be rejected by the younger generation, who will inevitably move on to the next latest thing. After all who really wants to be hanging out in the same bar as their mum. In the next 5 years will we become more closed rather than open? Will social snobbery, privacy and fraud lead us to be more conservative, less trusting and more selective about who we let in to our various worlds?

Glass
Glass could be immensely cool... in their words:
"Glass is a virtual canvas over the entire web where you can literally place notes on top of any website. Now, instead of sending a link, your contacts see your thought together with the moment that inspired it, in context, allowing you to share the experience of being there".

The mood of Twitter
So after analysing 3 years/300 million tweets, some dude has discovered that most Americans are happier at night than at midday and the West Coast is more positive than the East. Here's the infographic

Killing me

Check the music video for Robyn's new track 'Don't Fucking Tell Me What to Do'. It's the first of its kind, a 3D video using no cameras, written entirely in code, with much of the content fed by fans via a Twitter feed. The first portion of the video features a visualization of Robyn’s lyrics in 3D. The remainder of the video is created by users themselves who tweet what is killing them using the Twitter hash tag, #killingme. These tweets are themselves visualized and credited to the user. The video has the potential to become the infinite video as users can continue to add on to the endless stream of #killingme comments. It is also the ethereal video, as as it re-generates with each loading of the URL.

Check out Sleep Talking Man

Right here
"Shhhhhhhhh. shhhhhhhhh. I'm telling you: your voice, my ears. A bad combination."
"You're pretty. pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty.... [long pause] Now fuck off and be pretty somewhere else. I'm bored." and other comical sleep based musings.
