Shit bags

Nice concept and product from Junge Schachtel - designer dog shit bags...

And not being a fan of either dogs or shit, I think making the dog wear his own shit home like a medallion around his neck is about right...

Post it pillow

Lovely idea - a Post It note pillow case that you can write on in a pen that comes with it - the ink simply comes off in the wash. Great for all those midnight brain waves, to do lists, or night time inky faces...

We are not time travellers

Alex Varanese has grabbed grab all the modern technology he could find, taken it back to the late 70's, superficially redesigned it all to blend in, and started a fictional consumer electronics company to unleash it upon the world. Cool.

Make the most of NOW

Chrono-Shredder is calendar by Susanna Hertrich that shreds the passing day reminding us just how important now is.

In her words "The machine as performer. Chrono-Shredder is a poetic time-object that reminds us of the volatileness of the 'now'. As hybrid object with functions similar to those of a calendar and a clock, it shreds every single day in realtime. All that time that is irrevisibly lost gets a tangible existence in form of shredded paper. As time passes by, the tattered remains of the past pile up under the device."

Quite.

Nike 78

Nike 78 is the result of a design project initiated by soon-to-be LCC graduate Paul Jenkins.

He gave 78 pairs of Nike shoes out to designers and creatives internationally and asked them to "challenge the function of a pair of Nike shoes". The results are now up in an online gallery.

Here's a few responses - but check out more images on CR Blog and different ones on If it's hip it's here
